Round Rock Pride is a volunteer run 501c3 organization that plans and executes the official Round Rock LGBTQIA+ Pride celebration since 2022 in Downtown Round Rock, TX. We celebrate all year long, not just in June!

Round Rock Pride was founded to celebrate the diversity in our community and provide a place for all to gather in safety, acceptance and love.

What does the Round Rock logo mean?

The logo holds deep meaning as it symbolizes the essence of the LGBTQIA community. The broken rainbow heart depicted in the logo represents the multitude of challenges faced by individuals within the community, including broken homes, shattered lives, and disrupted families. It serves as a powerful visual reminder of the struggles that many LGBTQIA+ individuals endure.

In contrast, the image of hands in the logo represents the unity and support within the community. It signifies our collective strength and the unwavering commitment to stand by one another. Together, the broken rainbow heart and the hands encapsulate the resilience, solidarity, and determination of the LGBTQIA community in the face of adversity.

Pride Board

Round Rock Pride is looking for board members who are passionate about the LGBTQIA+ community and want to help lead our organization, including planning and running the annual Round Rock Pride Festival.

Serving on our board means playing a direct role in building a stronger, more visible, more connected LGBTQIA+ community in Round Rock.

What Board Members Do

  • Strategy & Governance — Set and monitor the organization's mission and long term goals, approve policies, and help bring on new board members, committee chairs, and volunteers.

  • Financial Oversight — Approve the annual budget, review financial statements, and help ensure sound legal and financial controls.

  • Fundraising & Outreach — Cultivate and thank donors and sponsors, support Pride events, and act as a passionate voice for our mission in your networks.

  • Community Connection — Help link us with corporate partners, community leaders, and volunteer groups.

Time Commitment

Monthly board meetings, plus service on at least one committee (Finance, Governance, Fundraising, or Marketing). Roughly 4 to 8 hours a month, depending on the season.

Join a Round Rock Pride Committee

Round Rock Pride is looking for committee leads and volunteers who are passionate about the LGBTQIA+ community and want to bring their skills to a specific area of our work, whether that's Fundraising, Marketing, Volunteers, Finance, or another focus.

Committee leads and volunteers work closely with the board to plan and carry out the work that makes Round Rock Pride and the annual Pride Festival possible. Leads take on more responsibility for guiding their committee's work, while volunteers support projects and events within that focus area. Either way, it's a great way to get involved, use your strengths, and help build a stronger, more visible, more connected LGBTQIA+ community in Round Rock.
